What does a typical session involve?

Sessions are usually about an hour in length and usually occur in your home or a special spot where everyone is most comfortable. After we’ve worked together in a portrait session, you’ll proof 25-50 images available as prints or on a disc. Most clients then decide on a signature piece or collection. These pieces are usually storyboard prints, canvas gallery wraps, or group of images for display. Additional prints are available, and if you like you can purchase a DVD with a shared non-commercial copyright.

How long does it take between image capture and proofing?

Images are edited for color and proofing within 14 days of the session. Galleries are available for 21 days. Once you have selected your images for printing, depending on your selection, delivery takes between 2-4 weeks.

How far ahead should I arrange a session?

Portrait sessions are usually booked on a first come first serve basis. As natural light is the best for my work, availability changes with seasons and sun schedules. If you’re interested in a weekend session, you should consider contacting me asap.

Do you do weddings?

YES ABSOLUTELY! I love working with couples just starting out on their journey. Winter 2009 packages and 2010 dates are being booked now. With the scope of wedding photographers available, it’s important to make sure we are a creative match as well as date and investment compatible.
